4 port compared to 6 port- Prelim. driving impressions

Well... my turbo N/A with lower comp rotors, (9.5:1 compared to 9.7:1) and 4 port side housings is starting to break in.
My last setup was with 6 port housings, no actuators or sleeves.

I haven't seen more than 3 psi of boost, and only for a split second, nor have I been over 5000 rpm's, but I notice a definate difference already.

The 4 ports have MUCH more low end torque than the 6 ports. Before I see any boost from the turbo, for example, at 3/4 throttle at 2500 rpms, the engine has much more power than my old 6 port setup ever did. At 0 psi, it feels like my old engine boosting 5 psi at 2500.

I can't really compare high end yet, nor can I say anything about boost response, but the low-mid end if much, much stronger. I wish I had dyno graphs. It feels (comparitively) like I'm driving a mack truck now.
This is with lower comp rotors too!
I'm not surprised... and I am expecting the high end to suffer a bit compared to the 6 port setup.....(but I'm just guessing) it's too bad that the fully actuated 6 port setup is such an ultimate restriction.

The "dark side" beckons.

I feel it daily now..
