4 NA Code for bad water thermo sensor

I got a 87 NA thats im running a TII block on with the S4 NA harness and ECU. I just got it all running and I get this beeep when i turn the key on and it never stops, even with the car running. I checked the car for codes and I got a code for a bad water thermo sensor which is supposed to be the one on the back of the water pump housing. Its all plugged in, so I thought maybe its a bad sensor. I put another sensor on and I still get that same exact code. What can it be?

The ECU doesn't beep. That's probably the power steering computer you're hearing. Chech the FAQ and/or search for more info.

If it's not the sesnor it could be the wiring or (less likely) the ECU. Follow the instructions on page 4A-24 of the FSM.

My 86 base never had power steering and it beeeeeeps. Only when its low on coolant, which only happened once while I was flushing it. It does beep though, and it is VERY loud.

by beep, do you mean the beep that you get when you open the door or the warning BUZZER??

How do i check the continuity between water thermo sensor and control unit? It gives a graph showing BrB wire is 2C in control unit. the GW wire is 2I on the control unit. What do I do with this info exactly?
