so 255's will be enough to put the power down? I mean I really don't want to smoke show when i just want to get infront of a ******* neon or civic... so I am looking for the best setup for the power I will be tunning for!

Yeah so long as you have a good tire on there and a decent suspension to go with it.

I run Falken Azenis on 17" rims, 245/40/17 I'm pretty sure, I'll check tonight and post if it's different. I don't have much traction problems on the street at all. Laying down 410 at the wheels but I have 400+ lbs of stereo stuff in the back also. I'm running Tokico Illuminas with matching Tokico Springs. Unsure the weight of em, got em as a package from RP. Rocky at RP could tell you.

Those Azenis are a really sticky tire for all around use. The BFG Drag Radials I have heard are great for drags though and I would bet are better than the Azenis. You'd need to warm them up good in the box though. I go around the box with the Azenis. Last track night the track sucked though so I spun like mad, I had better traction on the HWY on my way out to the track than I did on the track itself.

If you have adjustable shocks/dampers, a softer setting in the rear and playing with tire pressure can help with grip issues.
Any suggestions on how to fix that? I'm trying to figure it out, too. Also, if you drive in the rain much I reccomend G-force KDW tires. They have great grip and stick really well in the rain (at least compared to other tires)

Easy fix...an adjustable camber kit for the rear. I'm pretty sure someone has an independent adjustment kit out (adjustments for each rear wheel, rather than one adjuster for both wheels). I think it's racing beat, not sure.

My car theoretically has the ground control rear camber links on it, but I havent figured out how they work yet. Im not trying to hijack the thread, but does anyone have a link or something on how to work them?

very interesting so far...I have about 300+HP with 225 kuhmo EXTSA SUPRA 712 AND i ACTUALLY LOVE THEM...I am a big bridgestone guy and rarely stray from them but these have been good..so has a Tire called Nokian...There might be a difference in the rubber blend for some parts of the European market for this particular tire that makes it a bit better than the ones in the US but I can recommend them..has good wet and dry traction... go to a vett dealer and see what the new vet runs or maybe a 911 turbo...that will also give you an idea if you need more options than what you find here on the forum...or a trip to the track and see what the big boys run...

255s are the way to go. But it really is a tire choice. I dont make that kind of power and I can burn the **** out of my yokohomas. A softer tire is what you will need as well as width.
