2nd gen restoration, is it worth my time???

Yesterday i went to an auto yard and found a 2nd gen rx-7, one of my dream cars, for $499. I talked to the guys there and i can talk em down to $350, but the intake is disassembled, some tubing that looks like itsfor the radiator and the intake is cut, the steering wheel is gone and it looks like some of the fuses are missing. Is this a worthwhile project for a poor college student or not?

ill try to get pictures soon.

Any more info on the car?

Year?

N/A or Turbo?

For 350 bucks, I think thats a good deal, but with like NO info.. no telling... how about the exterior? OK condition? Interior?

EDIT:

Just read the poor college student thing :p:
My username... hehe... well, couldnt tell you. My FC is in good condition, so I didnt have to do a restoration.

Without the car being in a running condition, I'd say no. People buy running 7's for under $500 all the time.

on the otherhand, depending on the model and trim level, you could sell the parts and easily recover your investment.
