245s on stock s5 TII wheels?

Ive been told you can put a 225 on the stock wheels, but can you go up to 235 or 245?

Id like to know also.

+1 225 is great but i wonder. . . .

I think 225 is the most for a 7 inch wheel. Not 100% sure, but pretty close.

spot_skater 02-07-06 11:25 PM

I'm pretty sure on a 7" wide wheel 225 is about the widest you'd want to go. Safely, I mean. I have 225's on mine. If you want to run 245's up front you might need coilovers, and I'd suggest an 8" wheel.

You'd probably get better answers in the Suspension/Wheels/Tires section, though.

There's a LOONG FAQ for FC Wheels thread there, which should give you some more insight.

Good luck,
James

225= yes
235 = sometimes
245 = probably not

Kahren 02-07-06 11:34 PM

ive heard you can go 295 if you really try

staticguitar313 02-07-06 11:44 PM

i think i'll stick with 225, it handles pretty damn good on them

vosko 02-07-06 11:47 PM

335 on 5" wide wheel

that would be great for a monster truck!!!

jacobcartmill 02-07-06 11:48 PM

dude i think 305/30's fit pretty good. vosko and kahren both did it on their ricer cars

the 787b had a 385/35/18 on a 5.5" wide rim
