200,000 Mile Reliability

How healthy is a motor that reads 100 psi on all faces and is in a body with 200,000 miles? Owner says compression numbers suggest a rebuild in its lifetime.

100 psi still has a little left in it. Below 90 and it's on the verge of blowing I believe...

100 psi on a s4 should be golden. s5... decent-ish.

NSBerkland 01-11-05 10:40 PM

what would be golden for a S5?

120

Figure any rotor face hitting 90 PSI (or lower) and you need to start thinking rebuild.

120-125 is normal and what you want for a very good condition motor.
