2 - Step Question

What kind of launch controls are avaliable for the FC rx7??

Break down of my car, is a S5, N/A, Rtek2.0 ECU, Manual. i know its kinda rough on the motor, but i like the way it sounds lol and it would be useful for those night i feel weird and go drag racing.

Anyone with ideas? would rather not spend upwards of 200 - 300+ bucks. even if its making one that'd be cool. Thanks guys.

I find that my right foot is a very effective launch control for ProSolo (drag race launch) starts.

1) Rev to 5000-5500, depending on surface, and hold...
2) Yellow, yellow
3) Go.

the dynatek arc-2 has a 2 step option for ignition cut and replaces the stock ignition with a more powerful one for further modifications down the road. cost = ~$300.

2 step is for pre-spooling the turbo to get a more effective launch, in the quarter/eighth the launch can mean alot and dicking with the pedal won't be as effective since these cars lack torque, if you don't have a turbo then there is no 2-step that will help you over just learning how to launch properly.

I understand that lol. i'm not the drag racing kind so the 2-step is definatly more for my "rice" meets. and also the added protection of the Rev limit would be useful while drifting.

i'll look into the Dynatek as well. thank you
