2-Step

without running a standalone is there any company that produces a 2 step? this is the closest ive found http://www.himni-racing.com/index.ph...roducts_id=968

i asked the same thing a while back and no responses. looks like i might give that a try.

thats a pretty cool system. Ive never used one on an RX7, but ive used one on my TSI and it worked great. it was utter HELL on the trans though with the flat shifting LOL. Im not sure how an RX7 trans would hold up...

Why do you need one?

MSD has one in their high end box. My friend used to run it in his VR-4... except the box shitted out on him. we pulled it apart and it had hot glue in it... obviously MSD was selling a reman as a brand new box.

Get an MSD 6AL and their 2 step box.

You can't do that.

Its leading only?

Bronze MFP 10-16-07 11:37 AM

*bee-r makes an ignition cut box, but i think its more for showing off than actually spooling a turbo. you're best bet for a 2-step is going with a haltech that has it built in.
It may be hell on the trans, but its also hell on your tubo too as you are basicly using explosions in the exhaust manifold to keep it spooled.

One of these:

With one of these:

Wired like this:

Would work....why not?

YaNi 10-16-07 12:50 PM

Ah, didn't think about the trailing. It would need some kind of relay to cut trailing when leading was cut.

sleepydave 10-16-07 02:27 PM

Thats an SCI (MSD brand) box and two step.
