ok here goes this is my first rebuild in any car. I mean i pretty much got the basics i have worked on cars all my life. But, I am fairly new to the whole RX-7 concept so i have a few question on what things are and where they go. I am almost done i have a 86n/a and i just recently got it back from atkins for port polish, new housing and cast iron, painting then i put it together with all new gaskets and high performance corner springs. seals, 3mm apex, and new bearings. I would like to finish this project this weekend but i need some help to make her drivable. thanks. Attached are the pics and questions just answer as they appear left to right as 1,2,3,4 you know.

pic number one looks like you circled the connector for the o2 sensor, which should go into the other connector toward the front of the engine on the same side as that wire is now. I try to be descriptive, but I suck at that this early in the morning.

#2 is your air bypass line, goes from there to the intake piping...

#3 your charcoal canister lines route back to the gas tank & check/cut valve, and one of them is a drain, can't remember which one, but if it looks like a drain, and two others route as stated above, it probably is the drain...

#4 might go to your purge valve, which I don't see...

#5 the stock NGK plugs will have "T" and "L" printed on them, if in doubt

#5 might be your oil thermo switch connector, which might not be part of your harness now. These systems (sub zero starting) have been removed on most cars...

#6 it goes down there in that area, but I can't tell where you got it from the camera angle...

i cant find where the o2 sensor goes the only connector that will fit it is a wire that is bolted to the transmission bell housing. damn this sucks i am trying to finish this car. can someone take a pic of where there o2 sensor plugs in.

O2 sensor wire comes out of the emissions harness at the top of the engine (same harness as the injectors)...Most applications, the wire goes towards the back of the engine, under the UIM area, then heads over towards the exhaust manifold.

The wire bolted to your tranny upper bellhousing (10mm bolt) is your ground wire that should go to the male spade clip bolted to the firewall...
