How do I tune s5 n/a

Hey, I'm new to the forum, I recently bought a 1990 gtu with a blown motor and I'm currently working on rebuilding it. I have the templates for a streetport and I'm planning on cutting out the difuser. I also have a cat delete pipe. I want to delete the omp and tune my car. So I was looking into getting an rtek 2.x and I have seen that they stopped production. Does anyone know whether or not its still a good idea to run an rtek? Does anyone know where I can get one used? I know these have probably been answered before but everything I can find is outdated. Thanks in advance.

Rtek 2.1 is probably your best bet for an s5 n/a . It's the equivalent of reflashing a stock ECU on a modern car. I would post a "want to buy" ad in the classifieds section.

At the very least to get it running you will need to hang the OMP to the side plugged in as not to trigger limp mode and CEL.

Mine was pulled and bolted/attached near the pressure sensor at passenger shock tower. Yes it certainly must remain plugged in.
