1988 RX7 SE Clarion OEM radio stereo RT9122, Cassette Player, model PT-8051U, and EQ

Does anyone know where rear speaker amps are located, as there are only 6.5" OEM speakers in rear wheel wheels, plus a wired plug located at bottom of wheel well and not attached to anything, and no attached amps in this area. However, I believe power amp is built into Clarion OEM head unit described in title, for it is plugged (7 pin round plug connection) into a 3" x 3" silver metal heat sink with fins attached to Clarion OEM stereo stack bottom by EQ. Based on this info, RX7 SE did not come with amped rear speakers. Please confirm. Thanks

Aren't the rear speakers on these a sealed unit with the amp/speaker contained within?

1988 SE OEM only has 2 rear 6.5" speakers and padding in both wheel wells, no enclosed container. However, there is a female plug from wiring harness located at bottom of each wheel well, but it was not used for SE version.

Update: According to Clarion tech center, my Clarion OEM radio is directly wired into a 13-15 watt drive amp/heat sink located at bottom of stereo rack by EQ.

Some pics for reference would be nice, if you have stuff apart still. Curious to see the OEM setup without rear amps.
