bumpity. I'm also interested and I don't mind massaging the fenders.

I am interested as well also. I would like to put 17's on my 87 GXL. I am unsure what fits without modification and would be interested to find out what my options are.

The front if real tight - I'd shoot for +25 if you can find it.

Would a 17x8 +30 still fit reasonably well in the front? I'm having trouble finding anything +25.

Yea, i would wanna know some more about this to, if anybody can help with this, And would 17x7 up front and 17x8 in the rear be a better idea?

Should be fine or a very thin spacer might be required.&nbsp Usually +/- 5 will work "reasonably".

Mr. Gasket/Moroso makes thin wheel spacers (in the 1/8" range) - search for them on Summit Racing or Jegs.

Stock rims are 7 inches wide. I have 225/50/16s on my stock TII rims which are 16x7.

so is that good or not, or just go 8inchs all the way around, i don't road race my car or autocross yet, but i don't think that i need that wide in the front? but i dunno so i am asking for help.

I have 16x8 offset 30 all around on my FC. Up front they are a bit wide.

87GTR 06-08-02 02:48 AM

im going to be using
17X8 front with 35+
17X9 rear with 35+

the front I might need a small spacer I have coil overs with small springs so I dont think I will need 5- 7 mm
and Im getting the wide body fenders so im not worried about rubbing.
