1680cc injectors into stock TII fuel rail

I have searched to no avail, can anyone tell me what size to machine out a stock TII secondary rail to fit 1680cc injectors. I would think soeone has done this before, so I dont have to rely on using a caliper guage to measure the size I need it machined out.

And no I dont want to use a K2rd rail or a rx7store rail. Thanks

we are just cutting bit of plastic of top injectors, no need to modify rail at all

really? picturing it in my head it seems like that would be a lot of cutting to the injector. I think I would prefer to modify the rail as opposed to potentially mucking up the injector. They are brand new and worth more than a rail. The rail can be easily replaced if necessary.

If I cant find out what size, I will just go with the caliper guage reading and mill it out from there, just test fit lots. Thanks Higgi

*RX7 owners are cheap
*If you want to play you have to pay
*Your way better off getting a new fuel rail and a FPR.
*I hope your perfect - engine fire
*Do it right the first time
*Good Luck

thanks there guy. irst off not cheap. Have time deadlines and cant wait 3 weeks for shipments form the states. And I am pretty sure the machine shop wont screw it up. I dont see how you think I am way better off with a new rail. I guess under your philosophy I shouldnt build my own motors or exhaust system either, or let alone work on any car.

I hope the engine fires first time too, with the E6K going in, we shall see how good the base map gets it. The fuel rail will not at all be a problem, thanks for your concern though, and wankel7, already have the injectors, 680 primaries, and 1680 secondaries, BNR stage 3 turbo.
