13B-RE twins on 13B n/a?

Hey guys!

I found up for sale a cheap jspec 13B-RE twin turbo unit and i'm wondering can i adapt it to run on six port 13B n/a engine? Offcourse I know that turboing an n/a is a lot of work, but basically will there be any profits of installing 13B-RE turbo instead of a stock TII one?

Thanks!

Honestly, no. It's much more difficult especially if you want to retain the sequential nature of the turbo's. Need about a dozen solenoids to control them and an ECU that supports it.

Somebody will post soon enough to tell you to use the "search" button.

If you want to use the 13B-RE turbo's it's far better to transplant a cosmo 13B-RE motor and computer than trying to turbo charge the NA 6 port.

It will fit but there is virtually no space to make it fit. Once it is spaced to clear the lower intake you run into issues with being able to make a decent downpipe. If you want to run them non-sequentially you will be better served to use a larger single turbo.

Didn't even think about the LIM issue, though I should be well aware of it :pat:
