13b-re rebuild Qs

I didn't really know where to post this because the 13b-re doesn't really have a section (if it does point it out) and I have some questions. My main question would be; if I was to rebuild one what kit would I have to use? Of course I would love to use the base 87-88 N/A kit from atkins and then find the few gaskets I need but is that possible?

I'm wondering if I had to buy something like this
http://www.atkinsrotary.com/store/pr...cat=628&page=1
would the intake gaskets fit?

I plan on using the entire front assembly from a T2 so I can get rid of the double thermostat and all the rest of that crap. Input please!!

The RE uses the same LIM gasket as the FD but it has its own LIM-UIM gasket. I'm not sure if the oil pan gasket would work but I would assume so. All the short block stuff interchanges between 13b's.

Um you sure ? Im sure my RE gasket was different to the FD one (where is bolts to the engine)

yeh RE UIM to LIM is different (primary port size is larger).

Also front cover seal is different isnt it ?
oil pan is different (but just use sealant goo)

Mate just email Atkins, they will see you the kit specifically for the RE block. They sell the gaskets as that who I bought mine through :)

Cool. I wasn't sure since I didn't see anything on the website and I knew some of the sizes might be slightly different.

I thought there would be more info on this type of things since 13b-re engines are pretty cheap.
