Then again, I agree that the rolled apex seal sounds to be the most feasible reason.

Hopefully, if all goes well, I'll be attending UTI in April here in PA. I just hope that I won't be the only rotary owner there.

P.S: I went to a tech school for high school like 5 years back. But over the years, I've gotten myself sooo involved in the rotary engine now, that I've practically forgotten all my knowledge about piston engines!!
I look at a piston engine the way a piston guy looks at a rotary!!

what's a piston?

A piston is what pushes your brake pads into the rotor. I thought you guys would know that. ;)

And any tips for UTI would be appreciated as well.... (you can never know too many people) tour guides are welcome too... lol

Hey Red RX-7 Guy, i'm one of the 2 owners of the white verts--mine is the one with really ###### paint but awesome sounding exhaust.
Sorry to hear about your problem, but i guess that's life eh?
I had to tow a 87 TII 250 miles just so my buddy brandon could make it down here with his car, but i did tow it with my 7.
Anyway back onto topic... I am rooming with 2 very knowledable guys who really know their #### when it comes to 7's. Throw me a pm, or leave me a note on my car or something and we will see if we can come over this weekend and look at it for you. It might not be as bad as you think (but could very well be.)
Peace,
Matt Adams

Thanx ya'll, I will say this much.... I'm glad the car broke here in cali, cause back home, it's 20 below zero and there's 2+ feet of snow on the ground.... wow!
