1 quick tb mod/coolant flow question (have searched)

do i need to jb weld the coolant passages on the TB?

i assume i wont due to the flow no longer being there, however im just making sure its not a vac leak or anything

this is the second TB mod im doing, and on the first one we jb welded up the coolant passages, and i have since tapped the blocks coolant to the 90 degree bend thing ...

im just wondering if i have to actually take the time to use jb weld on the passages or if i can just tap the seconday rod holes and be done that much sooner (not waiting for JB weld to dry)

thanks

p.s.
im still searching, but there are sooooo many pages about the TB mod that dont address my issues specifically

personally i didnt jb weld them but.. if you want tou i see no reason why not to. the way i lok at it is the coolant flowed through teh TB and just heated it up but i never actually enters the intake track. so.. take it for what its worth.. if you do choose to JB weld it use the jb quick its pretty darn fast.. :)

see thats what i figured ...

it didnt make any sense to have actual fluid entering the vac source, but i just wanted to be 100% sure.

thanks for agreeing with my logic .. lol .. its reassuring

You are right, no JB weld needed. You can just leave those open to the elements.
