Yup. But with problems like a bad TPS and shifter bushings and stuff, it's gonna shy away some people. But the new motor and the condition of the paint/etc offset that. If you fixed the minor problems, I'm sure you could get even more than $6k.

the last 3 that have sold in vancouver have gone for 10kcnd, 10kcnd, and 13kcnd (40kmiles total, sold 1-2 days after add went in paper)
which are all over 6kusd. the prices for them are really high right now.. and seem to keep going up. you just can't find one for sale. so when you do they will pay. |
thats a really clean tII. u should get 6k for it!!
|
Fix those small problems first and you'll be able to get another $500 for a $200 investment in parts. Plus, it makes the car easier to sell. :)
|
yep : 5k right now : fix up the little things and itll be an easy 6k: good luck : nice car but y u wanna sell it since its so nice
|
Nice looking car, but I would never pay 6k for ANY TII. Thats just ridiculous. But Im sure you'll be able to pull that out of someone.

San Leandro, San Francisco, and one in SoCal. This one makes is the 4th. Buy your kouki FC's now, soon they'll be as much as an FD. =) |
Originally posted by neofreak Depends on the market, there are three TurboII's in California that are over 10k. San Leandro, San Francisco, and one in SoCal. This one makes is the 4th. Buy your kouki FC's now, soon they'll be as much as an FD. =) |
Originally posted by BoostedRotors LOL thats just insane to me that people would pay that much for one of these cars! Perhaps its my area, Birmingham,AL/ Atlanta,GA that is overrun with the cars...but still! 89-91 TurboII, white perfered, black OK. stock, no rust, straight body. |
Seriously. 6,000 is really closer to the low-end for a S5 TII in good shape in California. Usually you see them go for about 7,000, and the modified/new paint/low mileage go for 8,000-10,000+. Just what I've experienced, anyway.

sorry, that's a bit expensive in my opinion. I purchased my non-running S5 TurboII for $1500 in good shape.
$3000 and I've got a great car. You wanna buy it for $6000, I'll hand you the keys when I have cash in hand. |
<--- 2500 :) juss needs a new motor and paint job and im bling blinging!
