my car, with the sport spoiler.

I was thinking about to remove it, because it's too much black in the back,....my car could look extra clean because I don't have a 3rd brakelight from the factory ...I guess it could look better without wing......but I'm not sure

How's the duckbill rear wing mounted?

I like it. I plan on getting a sport spoiler for my car. IMO sport goes perfect with an S4

Slammedblk7 08-29-08 06:26 PM

I've had both....but, I prefer it naked!

The sport spoiler is mounted with a series of studs sticking out of the base, secured with nuts.

Now that's the way it should be done...no wing and the hatch surround painted body color.
Very nice silhouette.

ah cool , it's not glued? So I could remove it to see how it would look like, and if I don't like it I put it on again.
I think I'll try that tomorrow ! I kinda felt in love with the no-spoiler look and I was never really satisfied with how the back of my fc looks.

ahh not important... who needs it anyways?

RotaryJun 08-30-08 03:26 PM

Gee, you guys make me wanna ditch my TII spoiler. I plan on painting mine white and it does look better "naked." Oh well, I guess my spoiler could help pay for the paint.

$P€€DD€VIL 08-30-08 10:19 PM

today I wanted to remove my spoiler, but then I realized how much metal cover crap there is in the back of the car, I would have to remove all that......too much work :twitch:

What? You do understand this makes no sense!
-First, you can't say a integra... its an integra
-Second, are you saying that you'll like someone with an integra? Or are you saying you'll look like an integra?

Third, and more general, I've been in this group for a bit now, and I see alot of Honda Hate. Whats the deal with that? Why do you all hate Hondas so much? They are great reliable cars, and as far as the sportier ones, they are some of the best designed FF cars available. Like the integra, its a fun car to drive and I've noticed it oversteers more than understeers. I'm not saying I prefer it over a seven, I just don't see the need to hate, yeah hate ricers and the majority are ricers, but there are super clean, super fast Hondas, and I respect those. I've just seen such bullheaded people who hate with no reason. Sorry to go off topic

shika805 09-02-08 11:24 AM

wingless but if your going for a wing please choose the duckbill... none of that Jumbo Jet Wing crap, unless you want to fly???

I agree with you some what, i have notice that a lot of people have bagged on Honda's a lot in this forum and i also agree that Hondas are great cars, like you said, "reliable and one of the best FF." I think why people bag on Hondas is because of what most of what the Honda Guys do to there cars (riced out) with cheap mods... There are a few (i mean very little) people that know what to do with there Honda, its just seldom i see a very well modded and well thought out build around town???

my .02 cents

sodrifter 09-02-08 04:53 PM

i also like some honda's when done tastefully.just none of that huge wing/ugly body kit crap. jdm style is the way to go if you are building a honda. pretty much all the hondas in my town are POOP!. with the exception of 1 or 2.

i had a guy in a 96-up hatch messin with me the other day as i was leaving town. he kept pulsing his throttle at me. made me laugh. when the speed limit went from 45 to 55 he stomped it. i proceeded to pass him up with his head start. and i only got an n/a s4. lol:icon_no2:

sodrifter 09-02-08 05:12 PM

i almost forgot

sport wing ftw

Tyler [S5 FC] 09-03-08 10:46 AM

For a kitted car, I really like the Wangan Spoiler.

For stock body lines, I've always liked the TII wing, but I'm starting to like nothing more and more. I guess it just depends on the car. Like that marroon one looks sick with no spoiler! But I think mine looks better with the wing. Small things like wheels and taillights make a different outcome. Post pics of ur car and then we'll decide what'd be best for your car!

future RS 09-03-08 12:05 PM

Where does one get a sport spoiler or the wangan?

Tyler [S5 FC] 09-03-08 12:25 PM

The Wangan I believe is RE Amemiya, but they have replicas all the time on ebay, I eventually want to get the carbon fiber one eventually! Once I'm kitted

future RS 09-03-08 11:40 PM
