$101 a month, liability, 3 speeding tickets, 1987 TurboII, 20 years old, good student awards, and drivers ed discount.

it would be like $65... when my tickets drop off it will go down again tho.

This is bullshit.

thanks for the replies, this is good info and good to show my parents once i get a job in the next couple weeks. hopefully the insurance wont be killer,

they keep going on about it being an old car and im gonna have to pay for broken parts etc. i know FCs arent nearly as bad as FDs the only thing i would be scared about is a blown engine D:

~ 500 USD a year, liability only, 18 years old now, but rates haven't changed since I was 16 and had the car. Primary car, I have a clean record. This is for an 87 GXL.

I pay between $30-$35/month for everything offered by my insurer,Allstate. I am the original owner of an 86 RX7 and have not filed one claim in the 21 years of ownership and only have one speeding ticket during the same course of time. I also receive a discount for multiple cars on the policy in addition to lower rates based on how many miles I put on the car/year for I only put a few thousand on the speedometer in a 12 month period. The current mileage is 89,500 miles.

$230 a month for my 88 TII wih full coverage, including towing etc. 2million in property damage, 1.5 million in injury protection. I have 1 ticket and 1 accident on my insurance. I was in a very very bad accident in a civic hatch where a girl went into my lane and I hit her head on in the rain, she lied to the cop and said that I went into her lane (WTF!?). Since it was raining there was no tire marks so the cop just said he didnt know whos fault it was and didnt write any tickets. She then tried to sue me!!!!! Since then I have massive insurance coverage because I am not screwing with that again.
