Is ths a reasonable price for a 89 rx7 turbo?

I want to buy this car off grain list and I was wondering if it was a reasonable deal. He's asking 7k but he will go down to 6k-6.5k, is that a good deal with all the aftermarket parts and everything that it comes with? Please tell me what you would pay for this if you don't think he's asking a reasonable price. Link: http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/4616561309.html

There is no price on the planet worth paying for a semi built car if you know nothing about the chassis nor the drive-train, namely the engine. And no, saying "it has a rotary engine" is not knowing something about it.

Spend some time in this section and read up to see what you are getting yourself into. Price looks alright. I notice it is not for sale in our classifieds which sends a small red flag as I can not track the cars history. 18" wheel in rear 17 in front? wtf?

Looks like a reasonable asking price to me. The interior looks pretty worn and it has a body kit. Otherwise I like it around $6-6.5k.

honestly nothing jumps out at me as a red flag. the reman block with all those mods means the engine might not have a whole lot of life left on it, just depends how he drove it. questions I would be asking first is if he did all the work or did he buy it like that. even if it does need some work you have some decent parts on there as a starting place.

A 17/18 set up is actually pretty common. 18's are a little big for the front, especially if your lowering the car. not saying you cant lower on 18's, just personal preference I guess. the wheel size he has is prefect in my mind. And not every one gets on the forum to measure there E-penis these days lol

It's been for sale since 2012.

Not worth 7k IMO.

Generally speaking, aftermarket parts actually take away from the value of the car. That price is high for an stock s5 turbo and he isn't helping by saying he's been drifting it.

6k and it seems worth it for just the parts themselves.

I wouldnt pay over 5, just being honest. Also drift tax......
