Ah, I love that FC. I might've missed it somehwere, but which hood is that!? I know they mentioned the RE-A front end, but does that include the hood? I love it so much. I gotta get my hands on one.

Funkspectrum 08-27-08 07:53 PM

It looks like the Panspeed hood...

I want those CF doors!!

Juiceh 08-27-08 08:07 PM

The vent is more forward on the Panspeed hood. Panspeed hood also has a small vent over the turbo.

Cool car.

ecko 08-28-08 01:15 AM

like that hood but that wing needs to come off.

It does have a purpose though.

MaczPayne 08-28-08 02:08 AM

The wing comes off when it's not on the track.

superstock2 08-28-08 02:10 AM

that site is great, can't believe it comes from the need for speed underground creators.

Hypertek 08-28-08 02:53 AM

not the creators, they just sponsered these guys i believe.. the website guys have had their on blog sites then they joined as one.. auto otaku was a cool blog site then he merged with them. Its a pretty good site if you want to learn about japanese car culture in my opinion, very informative. The writers know their stuff and show you whats going on.

Its a good site, really shows people that japanese car modding isnt about picking up girls and trying to look cool as it is depicted in movies and video games..

Healing 08-28-08 04:33 AM

I really like those front fenders. They look wider, and more aggressive than the Foresight.

87 t-66 08-28-08 09:10 AM

the article says the motor is a 13b-rew...looks like a 13bt to me.

OutCold 08-28-08 10:17 AM

What would that hood mean for an Intercooled Turbo 2? no airflow?

True but for off the track it could come off :icon_tup:

That car is also street driven. The wing is taken off before leaving the track.

I must say. That car is total beast.

I always thought that lambo doors would look like shit on an FC, but damn. . . I was wrong.

Tyler [S5 FC] 08-28-08 12:29 PM

I've looked for over a year for carbon fiber doors, is there a company that makes them? I could shed so much weight with lighter doors... worst design flaw in the FC, is def. the heavy ass doors!

fc pro am 08-28-08 12:33 PM

Super Now...Mr. Imaizumi, my favorite driver. He put's it down for the FC's. I love the clip of him taking out an army of Silvia's on a track in Japan...just cant remember which track it was.

EJayCe996 08-28-08 12:44 PM

If this is the car I think you're talking about (I can't view that page at work) the hood you're looking at is the Garage Kagotani hood.

http://kagotani.ocnk.net/product/24

I'm currently in the process of finding a way of getting one myself :)

SDrotary-FC 08-28-08 03:02 PM

sexy time i like the more sleeper look

Dorifter_LEXX 08-28-08 04:50 PM

old news. Super*Now is still the sh*t, regardless. We seriously need to up our game state side with well balanced fc's like this... yes, with the big ass gt wing too. If you browse through Super*now's blog, they pretty much document the build of that fc from the ground up with details.
You don't hear many nice fc's coming out of Japan anymore, for the moment this one tops the rest.

Yep, found the doors from Super Now. Not too bad, only $1900 =/
RE Mama Mia also has the plexiglass windows and hatch. Great way to lose some weight!

They had some FRP one's on there that were cheaper. I was gonna link them too, but I didn't think anyone cared. As soon as I win the lottery i'm making a big order from there

Patrick@RHDJapan 08-30-08 04:06 AM

Nice article, thanks for the post!

DJ_Merle 09-04-08 08:37 PM

RHDJapan has really stocked up on nice FC stuff, I remember way back when I used to get stuff from them they didn't have as much as they do now.
