white one running? and the reason he said to swap mufflers is because the red ones look like crap and dont look stock... the white looks original... and if the white one hasnt been runnin that means they have more life on them than the reds....anything to make it pass emissions... i love not having echeck where i live... catless firebreathing 7

Yeah it's not stock, I'm not sure what it is. I'm getting a new Y pipe and then a few ebay mufflers just because it's cheap. I hope that will take care of it.

Then I need a new "Sunrise Red" bumper so that I can get rid of the black char marks... unless I wanna keep it for the "ricer badass" look of it... haha

So, the SAME belt broke again...

I think my alternator is bad, I think what's happening is that the coils are heating up so much, that they expand, and then it tears the belts up.

I saw in depth how it happened tonight, I thought it was going to happen, so I stopped and checked it every several hundred feet, diagnosing the problem.

But...alas...

A very worth-while investment for any rotary that you'll hear from pretty much everyone. Double belt alternator pulley and belts.

I actually had the same thing happen to me the 2nd week i had my 7. Snapped 2 alt belts and couldn't figure out why until another rx7 owner told me to get a double belt pulley. Haven't had a issue since.

The car has come a long way since I got it last August... I'd like to take a moment and thank those who have helped me along the way! It looks much better than it used to!
