If you read my post you'd see they offered me 3800 for mine but we did one counter offer then they gave us 6500 for my na vert. Get some ad's from auto trader also, Because one thing they try to do is give you a price for FC's around "your" area which probably isnt much.

the guy was pretty cool about it and he said he did a lot of research about it and hes like i heard about all the stuff you have in it and i'd say around 7400 dollars

i just want a clean straight t2 and as far as interior i mean i have a complete mint interior in the car that was in the total so thats not that big of a deal but turbo 2s are REALLY REALLY hard to find so i'm just going to wait it out till i find something thats CLOSE to the condition of my old 7 before it was wrecked

i'm not giving up on 7's i have way too much money into the car and i still have a complete mint interior and a motor with only 3k on a new rebuild so i dont want to put it to waste and plus

once an rx7 lover you're always an rx7 owner

 

With everyone else here, get what you can. My ex got rear ended in her fiero. She was stopped at the back end of a traffic jam on the interstate. A mini cooper being driven by a stupid chick on a cell phone rear ended her going 60. My ex's head put a basketball sized hole in the rear window, and totalled the car (rear engine). My ex was having a seizure when the ambulance arrived, and she woke up hours later. She know has sever scar tissue in her brain, and is on medication for a seizure disorder, and the car was towed. By the time they found out where it had been towed to, the yard wanted $800 to get it out, so they didn't bother for a totalled 4 cyl fiero.

So re-cap...

Totalled her baby.
Gave her a life long disability (seizure disorder)
Destroyed her only mode of transportation.
Seriously inconvenienced her.

She got a whopping $1200

Yeah well i wasnt really planning on it just because of the fees of attournys and stuff and im going to be honest i dont know **** about sueing people and that whole deal

BUT

i'm going to the doctors tomorrow because my necks been hurting and filling out an insurance forum stating im injured or whatever so it'll benifit me on getting what i want for the car

 

haha nice man, good see your not givin up on the 7's dude, especially in this situation being how it is with an uninsured driver and her total negligence in that fact that she shouldn't have been driving and hit you, you should get all that you can out of the situation.

Nope. It would be perfectly normal that you were still in a state of shock when you went to the doctors the day of the accident. And whip lash pain and stiffness may not show up until the next day. Very common the first symptoms clearly show themselves when you get up the next morning.

That said, $5K with only$200 to buy it back seems a very good deal. Take it. Then buy a clean S4 Vert and swap your whole ASpec drivetrane into it. I've had my very clean TII and I have my S4 (and now S5) TurboVert. Clear choice in my book, make the car that was made but never imported into the US. It's a straight bolt in exercise with very minor exception.

Said differently, I LOVE MY TURBOVERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
