That's exactly how my first car accident happened. Luckily it was in my 86 Camry and not the FC.

45-0 in less than a second, the seat belts cut into my skin from the impact. I was still holding on to a bag of peanuts.

Sorry bout the car bro, similar accident happened to me as well, some bitch failed to yield and I hit her, smashed her plastic bumper in real good, I got out of the car just bitching up a storm and as I got to the window she sped off, luckily my 7 just had a nice knife wound in the bumper and that was all, but hers was fucked up, I got in the car and caught up with her to get her car make, model and license plate just in case she tried something.
Truth is **** happens, tons of bad drivers out their and it's hard to predict what could happen, and its especially more painful if you have put work into your car and really enjoy it as most car enthusiasts do.
Good luck with the insurance company though I hope they give enough money to rebuild or get one of equal value.

You know, i've never seen an FC driver get severely hurt in any wreck ever. It just shows how well these cars actually hold up. Important thing here is that you are okay, and if it was me i would keep the car even if they total it out and just get a whole new front end. Get the motor checked out, double and triple check everything in the engine bay.

Good luck, and dont give up!!!
and if you happen to need a new S4 front bumper i've got one for ya, ill help you out and send it over really cheap.

if your going to stick with rx7s, i say try to get the most money from them, then buy the car back.. you can get another rx7 *get a cheap vert* and swap everything over *turbo vert is sexy * lol

But your 16, i wouldnt suggest taking on a project car.

Eh
so basically
talked to both mine and the other drivers insurance and the other driver is 110% at fault

i still havent heard any news about my car

if i do get fucked over by getting money back from this i AM going to sue her and basically try and ruin this girls life

Although
right after the accident i had to go to the doctors for insurance purposes AND
although i should
and i find it rather embarrassing to tell all of you this i did tell them i was okay.

BUT

then again that was the day of the accident so would it be too late?

i'm not an expert at this insurance thing and my apologies for sounding like an idiot if i am
i just want to get what i want for it as far as money from insurance

i will buy it back from a salvage yard and part this baby outtt

and if it does help i've looked it up for retail and i've got 5400 dollars and i have easily over 4500 dollars in just recites since i've owned the car so i will fight it if they try and low ball or negotiate me to go lower than i want.

Just keep fighting, goto auto trader, ebay, ect ect and print out alot of listings of good condition t2's around the amount you want to get. Like i said they offered 3800 for my vert, my dad gave them a counter offer and printout of verts in like the 6-12k range (don't know where he found 12k vert lol) and they ended up offering us 6500 for it. He also told them the car was worth way more than 3800 and the lady was like how do you figure that? He told her he was in the classic car market.

Hey guys dont post things about lying to the insurance company, Those bastards will use it against him. so please edit your posts! now all said and done but dude that car is done. If you are in pain go to the doctor now. get it on file at latest do it tomorrow. I dont know how it works out there but here you cant claim what your gonna keep. So with that said its sometimes better to buy the car back (usually sell it dirt cheap to you) and with the money left over you can buy a shell and maybe do some exterior mods. And truth be told kid you should get on it now and then to clean out carbon buildup.

Hope all goes well and glad to know that you came out fine.

I dont know what magical shitty land you live in, but we have laws in the U.S. that prevent people from being held responsible for anon. peoples posts. Common sense helps alot too.

Sue the insurance company because your neck hurts.

I hate seeing that man, sorry about the car but glad you're OK. I've been run off the road twice in my Turbo and went off roading once to avoid another idiot. And it seems nobody can see the Vert when the top is down, even when they are right beside me.

Eh

Alright well i'm going down to talk to insurance about the car

IT is totalled
big surprisee right?

i grouped all of my recites and i've spent a total of $5087.76
and i've looked it up on kelly blue book and just for the car completely stock they wanted $5600.

i've printed this kelly blue book and an add on craigslist for a t2 that has 148000 miles completely stock for $5000.

SO lets hope i've done enough research for all of this i'll let you guys know right away when i get back from this.

Damn dude that sucks, I hope you get what you deserve for it. Insurance companies will do everything in their power to screw you, just keep at it and and don't let them rip you off. Good luck .

your numbers are too low, you need prices in the 8k range, anyone wanna make a craigslist post in oregon?*hint-hint*
you usually only get about 75-85 percent market value thats why im saying your numbers are low
you can also request a LKQ- like kind and quality, which means they replace the car with another rx7 of equal quality and mialage,TO YOUR SPECS!
