Re-top coat and Clearcoat
Ok my car is decent now but it is strictly a summer/good weather car and i want it to shine like a brand new car when cleaned up. Plus my paint now is scratched in a few places and i have a couple of rust spots. Anyone ever do this? I would like to see pics and what it cost you to have it done.
it would really be better to strip the car and do body work and fix anything like rust that you may have. if you did not do this, when you did the "re-top coating" it will show all imperfections below it.

yeah thats what the PO of my car did, they just kinda painted over everything and it looks really bad up close, Now I have to do double the work to fix the scratches and rust next time around which will probably be this summer, if you have the time do the body work.

i definitely planned on doing the body work first. i only have like 3 small spots that need it and i will do them myself. The paint will be done professionally. I knew to do the body work first because i want this paint to be near show quality.

yes going to stick with brilliant black. Im not looking for 100% show quality just something that will look extremely nice when buffed and shined up. A real attention getter with out the loud exhaust and that sort of thing
