i like the hood. you just need to bring the rest of the car to match it now and nice engine bay set-up

Thanks guys, I appreciate the comments. The hood is one of the first external mods and definitely the biggest visual change after the rims. It does change the look but I like it and feel that it actually flows pretty good with the FC body. My main concern has always been function and structural stability when building this car, that's why it still has different color fender, trim, etc... I have slowly been painting various trim pieces back to black since the previous owner painted everything pink/red. Most if the time and money spent thus far has been for engine work and drivetrain( new LSD, brakes, upgraded clutch/pressure plate, fuel system and turbo control, etc.....) just now am I even considering what it looks like when it goes down the road.

Right on guys, I think it fits the car very well. It's based off the Knightsports hood and I think it has a good design. The big main vent is perfect for venting all of the hot air from the VMIC and radiator, the one vent is right above the turbo and you can just watch the heat pour out when you come to a stop instead of baking your engine bay. It even has three ducts from the back underside to the back to let any stagnant air escape. You should know how hot the rotary engine gets and you can use all of the cooling under the hood as possible. Plus this particular one is very well made; straight, clean edges and smooth shapes. It bolted right up and actually closed the first time we lowered it, had to do some tweaking due to the latch spring being a bit stiff. You think the aluminum TII hood is light, this hood is probably a third that weight.

hood with a function, gotta love that. that what my goal was, to get as much heat out as possible and the engine to have ample cool air

That looks like the same style hood as mine!! I was searching around the forums for a few weeks to see how popular it was before I bought mine and only found two pics of it from years ago. It looks good even with the front bumper, though the rear has that same kitted FC look.

Clean white FC too, most the white ones I see are peeling paint but that looks nice man.

Better pics of either car?
