Yep! It came from Steve Wilson of Assetworks I believe. I got the full Paxton/Nelson kit with the oil cooler, though it came with the wrong pulley (5.25", made like 3 pounds of boost.) Swapped it for a 3.75, made 9 pounds, and overspun the blower. I've swapped to an impeller wheel that pushes 850cfm on the stock pulley versus the 600cfm the stock wheel provides, but changed the pulley out for a 4.25" one in the interest of keeping the blower's speed down and not overspinning it again.

You had one of these kits on a car for a year or two, no? Did you ever experiment with setups other than the default kit setup?

Ohhhh yeah! Ever driven an FC with one? Not the most powerful car ever, but a beautiful compliment to the RX7's torque curve.

 

Little by little she's coming along.

Wheels will get some paint pretty soon.
