just got it in the today, went together pretty well. just had to relocate a coil pack and injector resistor box and minor things here and there. not bad for 400 bucks new.

do you get a lot of engine movement? if you do, i can see the piping causing problems for your brake master reservoir.

other than that, looks awesome man =D
what's the rest of your setup?

eff_three_see_es 05-20-09 02:50 AM

i have only taken it around the parking lot since i installed it. and yes it is pushing a bit on the master but i am going to fix that tomorrow.

Nice setup. Do you know what numbers your putting down? Also, where did you get that FM kit from?

87 t-66 05-20-09 09:59 AM

now its time to polish the rest of your engine

siguy2k 05-20-09 10:52 AM

Looks good! How much trimming of the front bumper did you have to do? Any pics of it with it on? Also where did you get the FMIC from and did it come with the piping and elbow?

GREENMAN! 05-20-09 11:28 AM

Awesome setup, let us know how it performs. Also, are those foam filters bad? I heard they can break apart and get sucked in.

NJGreenBudd 05-20-09 11:56 AM

this is one of those new e-bay setups right? looks pretty good overall, sucks you have to remove the bumper support though. Your relocating the battery I suppose?

yeah but i am getting the dual soon

NJGreenBudd 05-21-09 08:09 PM

Yeah, i see that now. Looks like a good deal to me man, I was seriously considering buying this kit a couple months ago but decided to go with a custom V-mount setup instead. But I would say this is a way better option that any other FMIC kit I have come across, really makes you wonder how some companies try to charge $1,000 for a kit. Even corksport is out of luck now, their kit cut some corners and had some major drawbacks and was $200 more than this ebay kit.

I say cheers to who ever designed and started selling these kits.

looks pretty nice...gonna have to let a friend know about this

Hypertek 05-21-09 11:05 PM

your one lucky whiteboy for not catchin shit with ur car in these here cali streets! lol

FC3S Murray 05-21-09 11:19 PM

Hey bro in regards to the brake fliud resv, all I did on my Greddy kit( since this one is an exact replica) was I trimmed off about 3/4'' from the end of the pipe going into the throttle body elbow.

You probably were gonna do that anyway but just FYI.

Looks good. Crazy how someone just copied the entire GReddy kit. I thought you polished up a kit and got one for hella cheap! haha. I would've spent some more time on your front bumper tho. lol.
