What are the specs on that turbo? How much did you get it for and how much boost are you running? O yeah princes bride FTW!

NCross 05-16-09 08:58 PM

Just needs paint really. How affective is the tin foil heat wrap? lol j/k

hkp 05-16-09 09:10 PM

67mm front wheel, 70mm back wheel, t4 flange(you have to modify the holes on the turbo flange a bit) between a 1.00-1.15 a/r on the rear. turbo cost 500 bux, hks 44mm wastegate with 1 bar spring.
tin foil heat wrap ftw, shit is good for protection against heat. im not rich and i do things on a budget, my set-up is super cheap but it works.

Texas_Turbo7 05-16-09 09:13 PM

So you can use tin foil for heat wrap? Humm didn't know that.

KhanArtisT 05-16-09 09:16 PM

bad-ass man. That dash cover is sick too.

joeylyrech 05-16-09 09:17 PM

is that a spark plug on that hose?

beefhole 05-16-09 09:21 PM

^ good eye!

Princess Bride = awesome!!!

White S5 FTW!

hkp 05-16-09 09:41 PM

you can use it to protect wires and other bits, i wouldnt wrap a downpipe in it. underneat that cover is very mint dash, and the spark plug is blocking the heater supply hose. anybody want a peanut?

Texas_Turbo7 05-16-09 09:53 PM

Lmao, i remember that part! Wasn't that guy a wrestler back in the 80's?

RotaryWeaponSE7EN 05-16-09 10:35 PM

This should be interesting.

hkp 05-16-09 10:49 PM

no clue, that part was, "my name is indigo montoya, you killed my father, prepare to die"

That is a biggy. What are you doing for fuel? What management? Looks like fun. :)

Super82 05-16-09 11:35 PM

Seriously Guys? Princess Bride?

I'm not sure what to think is worse-

You have a DVD player in your RX7
You watch Princess Bride
You have a DVD player in your RX7 yet tin foil in your engine bay

Or finally, in an attempt to impress the RX7 community, you took a picture of your DVD player in your RX7 playing Princess Bride.

No, you can't. It doesn't block heat, it'll just heat up the foil and retain heat instead. lol

Texas_Turbo7 05-17-09 12:11 AM

Yeah i was thinking about that, because foil has a low specific heat.

What's up with the rubber oil feed line?

Hypertek 05-17-09 02:06 AM

need some extreme coilovers to pair up with the extreme turbo setup
its only fair the suspension get the same treatment =D

your wife has great taste in steering wheels =D
nardi ftw

hkp 05-17-09 03:08 AM

the screen is the head unit i had and it works well, the foil is to keep the wires from coming in contact with hot metal, that rubber oil feed line is a hydraulic line capable of withstanding more pressure than me at the inlaws, my family owns a machine shop. i have ohlins struts on random springs, im happy with the handling, not the height, love the nasty color. princess bride is the shit, if you dont like it. you dont have a good sense of humor. im not here to win a popularity contest, im old and i dont care, as i type my wife is dancing to the chicago soundtrack, my life is complete.
