New Aero and wheels! Small photo shoot
Hey guys, alot of you may remember my car from some of the threads, looking like this..
https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8339/...6caf03c7_c.jpg https://farm9.staticflickr.com/8483/...2246b5fd_c.jpg But after some month long training on active orders, got a bit of money to change it up. So, this is what I came up with. https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7414/...407dfcc6_z.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5487/...920c2933_c.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3791/...f4648a62_c.jpg https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3820/...b59c2dbb_c.jpg https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5526/...7de54204_c.jpg It's a BN sports style kit, on Weds Kranze Cerebrus II's 18x10 (f) and 18x11(r). I know most liked the slammed/stock body on 17s, and I did too, but I wanted something new. So, lemme know what you think! Hopefully doing an actual shoot when its running(typical RX7), with rolling shots. Hope you enjoy! |

It definitely grew on me man! It looks awesome. Just get that s5 trim and some turn signals and it'll be perfect!
Do you think you'll ever put a spoiler on it? |

its pretty to look at man but it seems insanely impractical. Hope you got a good body guy when that kit gets shattered to smithereens! looks good though bro!
|
PLEASE get S5 moldings. Will totally complete the car.

Definitely as they're super rare :/

Pffft no wing brother, all day. Dont listen to this non sense. Spend ur money on moldings and get em painted, then you'll be ridin clean. And maybe get the kit to fit a lil tighter too.
|
Nah uh! If your going for that mad drift style, Big Country Labs all the way!

collision repair grade panel bond will hold those skirts on. you wont be able to take them off without damaging them though!

Omg I'm in love with this. Great work
|
I used 3m double sided for my T2 skirts had them on for a year and I daily it. No issues.

http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...d=271229318589. 3m double sided tape MIGHT work. But you would have to make sure to use adhesion promoter and if the fiberglass is really sturdy and doesn't wanna sit flush with the body it won't be strong enough.
|
You could just pop a couple rivets through the skirt into the fender and brush touch them the same color as the color. That would be pretty stealthy and strong and easy to remove if you needed to pull the skirts. I riveted on my version select kit on my S14. It was the only way I could get it flush without doing anything permanent

Color as the car*
