My Nardi Arrived!
Well after waiting for a month, my Nardi FINALLY arrived (it wasn't ordered online either..)
Pics! http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y19...5/DSC01041.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y19...5/DSC01043.jpg (Nardi Deep Corn, Momo Hub (for the FC of course), T1R Momo to Nardi adapter.) Before! http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y19...5/DSC01023.jpg FUGLY After! http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y19...5/DSC01038.jpg http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y19...5/DSC01039.jpg And for those of you wondering how far away it is from the turn signals, here you go. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y19...5/DSC01040.jpg It's quite a reach, so I'm thinking I might pick up a momo short hub instead. |
Looks nice, how much farther out would you say the new wheel sits ?
The stock wheel, is offset +100mm, while the Nardi, momo hub, and spacer is altogether +150mm.
So it sits 50mm closer to you :) I just went out and measured that all for you, aren't i nice, lol. |
That is NICE! How many bones did that set you back?
You don`t want to know, haha.....
The wheel was $300, $100 for the Hub, and $50 for the adapter + taxes on all 3 items.... It was pretty freakin` expensive, but I think it was worth it. |
very sweeeeeeeeeeet! i like it
Nice, Nardi Deep Corn is by far the hottest one of them all! But you didn't go with the 330mm instead?
How is the 350mm sizing compared to the stock steering wheel? I'm sure it still feels much better! |
Stock is 380mm.
350mm is a good compromise if you've got manual steering. Steering effort goes UP when you start to decrease the steering wheel diameter. I wouldn't go smaller than a 350mm with manual steering. If you've got power steering, then that's not a problem. :) -Ted |
i had a 320mm on my last car, and i think that is a bit excessive...
Looks good.
ALPINE headunit FTW!!!
Very nice buy, expensive for my taste. it is a good ting it sits closer to the driver, ya it sucks getting in and out possibly...but the closer it is to you, the better your leverage becomes while racing. not saying you do, but a driver shouldnt extend wheels to where their elbows lock. Especially since you have manual steering, it is best it sits closer to you. better cranking force. just my opinion....
nardi wheels are teh sex... how do you like the deep dish, 1 have a 350 classic with an nrg short hub, and a nrg quick release
I love it so far. Vast improvement over the stock one.
Man I love those steering wheels. Looks clean
pimpin'
Very nice choice, Congrats. Did you have much trouble finding the Momo boss?
Nope, ordered it and it arrived 3 days later.
