Back are 255\17\45
Front are 225\17\40
Suspension is KYB with Eibach Pro

beachFC 08-21-12 02:34 PM

Actually digging these.. Anyone know specs?

NCross 08-21-12 04:56 PM

17x8 +30. I have a set on my vert but the 245-45-17 tires rubbed pretty bad so I had to flare my fenders. Thinking about selling or repainting satin black or gunmetal.

themarc65 08-22-12 12:28 AM

looks really good, what year of stang are they from i've been looking around for some nice rims. are they 16" or 17"?

RXTASY57 08-22-12 08:27 AM

Think they come from a Mustang GT 98"

MazDan 08-22-12 10:34 AM

They look really good. How heavy are these wheels?

How much flaring was needed?

RXTASY57 08-22-12 01:00 PM

I didnt have to flare my wheel wells....

RadioX7 08-22-12 03:59 PM

i thought they were 17x9?

papiogxl 08-22-12 04:52 PM

Nope, 17x8. From '99+ GT models. I have 225/45/17 F and 245/45/17 R on the silvers and 235/45/17 all around on the pinks. I didn't need to flare the stock fenders, but I have heard of issues with 245s up front on stock diameter strut/coilspring combos. I'm running some KTS coilovers. I also have extended studs all around, I've also read some people were having issues with the front studs being a hair too short. Wheels are also fairly light for the size.

BTW RXTASY, I love you car. lol. Looks like you painted your front bearing dust caps?

Molotovman 08-23-12 08:18 AM

Here's mine from the pics n specs thread. They have some curb damage. 17x9 cobra wheels, +26 offset. 235/45/17 F and 245/45/17 R. I have Ground Control coilovers, no way these will fit up front with stock springs.

They're a good setup for how cheap they can be had for. I picked these up for $150 with bad tires and missing two center caps.

Here's the real pics.

I had some fit issues with stock-style struts. But I was trying to run 245s on the front and 275s in the rear. When I went to coil-overs the problem went away. Longer front studs were necessary and I did have the flare the fenders slightly

This is with 1998 Cobra rims, not the 99 GT. But they have identical dimensions.

225/45/17 fit perfect. no spacer needed. idk if you remember when u saw my car, they fit nice without rubbing

89ls1 09-28-12 11:31 AM

I am running 235s up front on a set of Mach 1s and 275s out back with no big rubbing. Had to flare them a little though

I started with some Cobra R's but prefer the Bullit wheels instead:
