I got bored and cleaned my fuel rails while my injectors were out. Glad I sent them, it looks like one injector was pretty bad off after 16 years. They rails are not perfect, but it is the best i could do with a drill, $3 wire wheel, and two buffing discs.

 

Rails look good! I wish I had the patience (and time) to do that. I'm surprised with that little bit of flow you never blew the engine from running super lean on one rotor.

 

Yeah, I'm a little concerned about if there was some detonation. The only plus is that I only ran about 50 miles after putting on the down pipe after sending them off.

 

whoa nice rails! you should sell some to these members and make a good profit. my injectors are also leaking. takes about 3 minutes to start my car. how long did the whole cleaning process take?

 

Injectors took a 2 day turn around with all new hardware from witchhunter, $20. Rails took me an hour per. They look better in the picture, I could not get to some of the smaller areas with the buffing discs. I think I might invest in a bench top buffer though. The uim came out awesome with about 5 min worth of wire brush also.

 

Damn those rails polished up nice!
