How much from parting out s5?
 

I've had my 90 rx7 (blown coolant seals) for over a year now. When I first got it I jumped right in and started getting parts to do a s5 t2 swap. I ended up getting almost all the parts except for the tranny and engine.
For about 7 months constantly searching and calling everywhere I had absolutely no luck finding a GOOD s5 T2 engine. Now its just sitting here collecting dirt taking up space. I'm wondering how much do people typically get when they part out these cars? I'm not talking about the other parts I have for the swap, but the car itself.

- Parting out a car is a lot more work (and less lucrative) than most folks think and depends a lot on what goodies are involved.

- Since you're only selling a shell/roller, the cosmetic condition becomes much more important.

- I'd advertise it on norotors because those guys don't care how hard it is to find a suitable rotary replacement engine.
