what is the BEST way to do the sleepy eyes look? and are the any other things I should do in addition to complete the look

i hate telling people to search... but we get topics like this weekly...

thats why i put BEST in caps cause i've seen alot of different methods i just wanted to discuss which is the best.

i have searched and i couldnt find it, i know people talk about them on there build threads maybe...

There's a method to pulling out the fuse and turning the knob?

I have a switch wired to the headlight motors so I can turn on my lights without my lights coming up to make use of the FTP's, and if I time it right i can make it sleepy, but I don't know if you want to do that.

Cut/weld the linkages from the headlight to the headlight motor arm and the motor arm itself.

Take benadryl. Freakin bug bites are driving me insane and i can't sleep. I'm excited because i get to drive my baby soon!



On that note, bash them to desired height with a hammer. Seems to do the trick!

Pull the damn fuse out. Sleepy looks retarded. Half open looks cool though. Barely open doesn't work because our headlight covers dont curve downwards. It just looks wrong that way.

does the mazdatrix rods close it half way but, still open full when the lights are on?

play with your headlights like they are a wackamole game....when they pop up hit them with the hammer!

If so, that's part of the stock system. Each headlight uses two long rods, one medium rod and one short rod. It may be possible to swap in mediums in place of the long rods, but I've never played around with it as I think it looks stupid.
