Hahahahahahaaaaa!

I just looked down the list of threads and like 99% had the words "HELP" or "PROBLEM" in them. Just thought I'd point that out. I love my FC but holy crap it's a pain in the ass!

younG_Gunner 02-29-08 02:47 AM

This was a pointless thread, but I must say that you have a SUPER clean Z!!

w0ppe 02-29-08 03:29 AM

20 years kind of does that to vehicles... FCs are just more of it sometimes

Yeah, I know. I was just amused by it at the time. And thank you! I can't wait to get it out of storage so I can drive it!

Hey, we all need support when our cars break. Its more like emotional support though...:hahaha:

Spec.

Boosted11 03-04-08 12:00 AM

The love for the fc will forever grow, no matter how much we hate going through all the troubles of getting our cars fixed. I would never trade my fc for anything, well no I would trade it for an fd.

blwn rtr 89' 03-04-08 12:13 AM

equally pointless post...... 400

REVERE 03-04-08 01:01 AM

Never once it the entire ownership (three years) of my FC have I ever been forced to take it of the road for even one day. No real problems at all, I can honestly say it is the most reliable car I have ever owned.

I don't baby the car either, however I still only have 75,000km (46,600m) on the clock which could have something to do with the health of the car.

Ex-Eg-Driver 03-04-08 01:06 AM

You sir are one bad ass.

I'd knock on wood. Lol

Chris Boots 03-04-08 02:12 AM

ya, go to the FB section and you'll find stuff like "guess what my car did today?" , "is it supposed to do this" , "Is this amount of RPM's ok?" etc etc. They have some fun over there. I wouldn't trade my FB for really anything. Here in the 2nd gen its all HELP, Problems, and why does this all the sudden not work? lmao

Mike0071 03-04-08 02:24 AM

For real, everytime I'm in here (the 2nd gen forum) there are so many HELP threads. For some reason, the FB was made well enough to only have a little bit of problems, and we all know the only REAL problem with the FD is that 13-REW hitting the 60k, and needing a rebuild, but nothing really after that. Here in the FC thread, there are so many other problems that happen. And yet, I can't wait to get my own
*sighs dreamily*

Is it true you guys love your cars almost more than yourselves? Shiit, it must be hell working on a rotary, but you wouldn't trade it for the world, would you?

blwn rtr 89' 03-04-08 03:22 AM

^WERD

FC > all

Jzavala 03-04-08 04:16 AM

well for the most part my car is mechanically sound i know that much. but my front drivers side headlight motor drains my battery. i'll have to sort that out when i get back though. all i know is that i would never trade my fc or sell my fc for anything. i will forever keep it until either i die, or it gets wrecked by someone else.(man i hope i don't jinx myself with that one.)

Osirus9 03-04-08 04:22 AM

my car cuts itself at night :(

but i love it anyway.

+1 for amazingly pointless thread though :D

lol, your 400 got removed to 399.

rx7fan1903 03-04-08 09:42 AM

that's the downside of loving such an old car.

but it's definitely worth it!! I love FCs to death, no matter how much crap they give me or anyone else! LOL

well uhhh 03-04-08 10:18 AM

my first FC = the reason i am broke, grumpy, and swearing all the time, yet i can't keep from buying more of the damn things. Now i am into FB's too. (Tree huggers love me)

ericgrau 03-04-08 02:38 PM

That's the 2nd gen techincal section. I don't think you're supposed to post anything there except help and projects, and not too many people have projects going on. Heck, this thread even got moved. But when the topic is brought up, it seems like 50% of people have problematic FC's and 50% of people never have any real issues. It has to do more with cheap people buying broken lemons than anything. Happens on old Civics and any car.
