So I've had a burnt out rear turn signal for a while, and I finally got around to replacing it today, along with the rest of the bulbs in the tails. They all went smoothly until the passenger side turn signal. That thing wouldn't budge. I pried at the metal socket, squirted a little PB Blaster in there and rocked the bulb back and forth. No matter what I did, it wasn't moving. Eventually, I got the awesome idea to wrap a rag around the bulb and grab the base with some channel locks. Of course, the second the channel locks touched the glass, the bulb shattered all over the hatch (good thing the carpet isn't in there.) I spent at least an hour trying to dig the rest of the bulb out with some needle nose pliers, but that thing is permanently stuck in there. I guess I'm going to have to run up to the junkyard tomorrow and snip one off. :icon_no2::wallbash: I definitely learned from this experience and slathered the rest of the bulbs with dielectric grease... Oh yeah, tiny glass shards stuck in your fingertips really hurt.

Hey don't feel so bad. As I was putting my FC onto my car lift today I backed up a little crooked and the car lift arms dug into one of my side skirts. shit sucks. I feel your pain.

This. :icon_no2: And there's not really anything doing for it either but to live with it for a couple days... Eeech...

Edit: Lolz. Just noticed I have that same blue funnel! I used to use it on my blue car to refill the auto tranny every few days...

I feel you, ended up with about the same problem on my front driver turn signal. Had to get one off of ebay that was in much worse condition and the wrong connector spliced onto it. Problem is the ground cable had also been fried, so it now has a ring connector around one of the mounting bolts for my ignition coils.
