leave em stock, tint them, dont forget the 3rd brake light, this pic is the lights and hazards so the 3rd light is not lit, nor are the brake lights, just parking lights.

Looks good, definitely a new one. I always loved the modernized tails in eriksseven's pics. Then I did my own and liked them even more.

Seeing the bulbs don't bother me, I still like it better than the diffusers. Might try LED's for my next set.

Yo Rob, what did you use to tint your tails? VHT? I've always wanted to spray a set but have always held back for fear of ruining them... Any blotchiness? Did it lay down well?

I did not use VHT, if you search my thread on my vert lights I outlined what I used.

https://www.rx7club.com/2nd-generation-non-technical-pictures-198/s4-s5-smoked-clear-coated-vert-tail-swap-770618/ for the thread

product is dupont imron, he mixed translucent or light solids black tint with clear.

Looks good. Wouldnt it have just been easier to say the product name though?

it would have- except if the person asking goes to the thread there is a little more information including some discussion about the VHT.

I could give the ted answer:

imron

^^^^Me too (aside from l.e.d.) If i had a black car, rob xx7s idea is badass.

I guess you could tint clear with other colors as well to match the car, t probably would look doodoofully asstastic though.

@ Ecko. Whats the deal with the paint on that flat black FC? Is it just primer, or primer with clear? I like.
