Hey all, cool thread. Just got my rear wheels fitted after some fettling. The car has been Hellaflush featured before from the Okishima Program meet earlier this year. EVERYONE seems to have green wheels now so I switched it up.

Fronts - Origin DNA02 - 17x9.5 +15 - 225/45 Rears - SSR Professor SP1 - 18x11j +16 - 255/35 http://images53.fotki.com/v535/photo...4/f3cs3-vi.jpg http://images52.fotki.com/v738/photo...4/f3cs2-vi.jpg http://images12.fotki.com/v213/photo...4/f3cs4-vi.jpg http://images110.fotki.com/v570/phot...14/f3cs-vi.jpg Front SSR should be on in a couple of weeks - 17x9 +14 - 215/40. 9.5s are a bit too big for the front of an FC I think, the Origin wheels I currently run are pretty close to the coilover and don't turn too great :D |

How you associate "proper" fitment with a group sometimes called "the wrong fitment movement" is beyond me. Ever notice how folks focus on style when they can't afford to actually go fast? (See also the engine bay wire tucks that Honda owners love.) You've got your definition and that's fine. Just know that there are folks out there who think proper is what gets you around a track faster.
Oh damn this has fender gap!!! It must suck. http://www.supercarsource.com/blog/w...sche-rsr-2.jpg Non-stretched tires? WTF were they thinking? http://ll.speedhunters.com/u/f/eagam.../FC3S/ins3.jpg Are those 15" wheels up front? NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2343/...6f6c7a239d.jpg PS Thank you for this:

I know it's the new "thing" for some to be "hella flush" so you can join the "wrong fitment crew", but I believe it goes too far to call it "proper fitment". All those guys on fatlip and motormaidens parrot eachother critisizing others as not having "proper fitment", but it truly reveals a low grasp of the english language. Proper implies normal, correct or conforming to established standards of behavior or manners. These ideas are not a long established tradition and are abnormal. Good for you for enjoying your "stance" and I'm fine with that, but to imply that everyone else is improper for not scraping is false.

I put my spacers on tonight, think I need 3-5mm more but Im not doing that until I get longer studs, besides I dont want to bash the 1/4s in
I dont care how JDM, cool, or bad ass it may be, I will never, ever put stretched tires on my car http://robx-7.nopistons.com/d/4180-1/gap+007.jpg http://robx-7.nopistons.com/d/4183-1/gap+010.jpg |
