To all that have known me through the years i am saying farewell to the rotary scene! it has been a joyous 15 years dealing with rotarys and owning 16 rx-7's i have had a blast at times and many headaches too, but i have met somany good friends on this forum and it is with great sadness that i say goodbye.

i have since dove into the porsche domain and i recently came across a 86 944 that i just could not refuse. the fc and 944 are very similar in driving but of course the mechanicals are entirely differnt so it will be a challenge tey again. Many things have occurred in the last year such as divorce, my father passing, and i just moved to austin to start anew. I will however visit the forum to say hey once in a while but keep the rotary alive and god bless you all.

Put a 13b-rew or 20b in that bitch!

Sick! Can you give a comparison to the FC? Driving feel, build quality, handling, etc.

91verty 09-16-09 01:59 AM

thanks again guys! as for putting a 13b in.....well that would defeat the whole deal as to why i am doing this! and as far as the comparisons to the fc? well lets just say that this is a n/a and it would dust a n/a fc! but i drove a 90 turbo 944 and it was quite a surprise too. but theres nothing like a boosted rotary and ill swear by that!

But all in all they do feel alot the same especially in the turns, but when it comes to quality and craftmanship the porsche is a winner hands down. the only thing that upsets me is that parts and tuning these cars are ridiculously high for cars of this age so i will be gaining as much knowledge as possible.

Good deal breh. Now maybe things will switch around on you. Instead of people asking you if your rx7 is a 944 I wonder how many people are going to ask if that is an rx7.

yea but i think a fc looks more like the 928 versus the 944 but there are alot of similarities! thanks for the feedback guys.
