After Cracking my rear plate, I had rob at Pineapple stud/dowl the block, necessitating an external oil line. Got one to work with FILTERED oil, using rob's oil filter pedistal block and a simple -6 line, while retaining both A/C, power steering and my intercooler pipe passing thorugh this area as well.

I had searched while doing this and didnt find anything similar (retaining A/C and PS) so wanted to share for anyone needing some ideas. Simply notched the a/c, ps bracket and used an 90deg nipple.

One note: After looking at just about ALL the oil filter pedistal blocks available. This one is the only one i could find that would feed filtered oil to the front bearing. The rest of them discharge upstream of the filter and are really more suited for tapping pressure and temperature gauges, not external oil line connection.

Out of curiosity, how did he isolate the pedestal so that if there is a dowel break, it still doesn't hemorrhage oil?
I have a rear REW iron that was modified for external oiling and the dowel casting is filled with epoxy and the actual galley in the pedestal is sleeved so oil cant flow to the dowel.
Is yours similar?

The sleeved passage is a good idea. I believe I saw it on Facebook/IG being done to an FD iron. I doubt he'll be cracking now that its studded/doweled, but extra insurance is always good. Mine is also using the Pineapple pedestal with a -6AN line. Works great!
