ebay rear strut bar
Hey guys, ok nso I found a rear strut bar on ebay and I know some of you have it installed. If I rembered correctly someone even painted the orange parts blue. I was wondering if its any good? It looks just like the mazda speed one but for 50$ I'm kinda hesitant. And info on quality/fitment would be appreciated. Thanks!

man i have like 3 mazdaspeed rear strut bars sitting around lol
Ha wow, this ones only 50$ and that's with shipping. Ny idea if the braces block the speaker?
most of them require cutting of the support and removal of the "bucket" the speaker sits in. if you have your heart set on that ill sell ya an actual corksport one for 70 shipped
Cork sport was my first choice but the styling of these type require no cutting at all they supposedly use holes already there.... I think I'm just guna order it and see how it goes. I mean it's only 50$
Corksport is "apc" with a corksport sticker on it.
dont get it. youll be disappointed on what your gonna get.

add the triangular supports, and its solid as hell. |
i know ppl complain about having to cut into the tower and carpet to run the bar, but are you ever really planning on removing it?
the TCSportline type is the same your talking about... works fine, does the job..
you just need to make two bolt holes in the carpet on each side.. |
and i painted the orange parts gunmetal, looks great
I have the same one you linked, next time please give us a link that isn't for a mobile device though...
On the bar: I had to smack it around a bit to fit, but it's fine otherwise. My stock TII speakers fit with no problem.

or you could just build ur own

That looks really good. If I can get access to my friends shop ill go that route
Why not? As long as you can adjust it. It's just a metal bar to stiffen up the rear, so if it's adjustable I say go for it. Cusco is nice because you don't need to adjust it, it's just a perfect design, has perfect fitment and is lightweight. My friend has a custom metal bar just bolted to his and works fine.
