Crossed over to the Dark side
Well i am going to pick up a 99-04 Mustang GT in the next week or so. It will be my spring/summer/fall DD. So both my 7s will be on the back burner and be my "toys"
Sweet. A solid axel. Make sure you don't take any turns. Just kidding
. How's the mileage on the GT? 260hp isn't bad, but kinda low for a 4.6 L engine, so hopefully there's some fuel savings?

Want a fun game? Count all the different "special edition" mustangs
There's got to be at least 50, which kinda takes the "special" part out of it....but maybe thats just me?

Nothing wrong with a Stang, big potential when done right & besides he said he still has his 7's. A good friend of mine has a 600+ awhp Eclispe & a 09 GT Stang with bolt ons for a DD. Have fun with the V8 JFpimp.

it gets like 17/24 for mileage from the factory and then of course a CAI, exhaust, and a flash tune can help that a little but still not that big a deal to me since when i drove the 7s it drank the gas because i was always on it. Plus that back seat has some appeal when it comes to taking girls out
I bought it because i need something to drive around on a daily basis because when i did that with both my sevens even with great maintenance done to them they only lasted 6 months. Not so much a bad thing and for the price paid i got my use out of them. Now just want to rebuild them and keep the miles off them.
Plus the only two sports cars i would drive would be a V8 stang or a rotary 7.

i used to have an 82 trans am then i picked up a ws6 and i hate the chevys all around.......
I picked up the car last monday and its pretty sweet. Still miss drivin my 7s but this will do for now.
It came with a bunch of parts i didnt plan on it having. Subframe connectors, camber castor plate, short throw shifter, line lock(unwired), and the mufflers removed(sounds amazing for a v8). It makes for a nice sleeper because of the color as well.
Im still not going to become one of those "hey i have a v8 and i can rape any car alive that isnt a v8" kinda people. Most cars have potential.....Well Except hondas.
