Car kit ID

Could/Can anyone identify the kit parts on this car? think its a gorgeous combination..Do we have 20 mm front fenders and the lucky front lip? what hood and skirts are those?

Hypertek 09-16-08 12:16 PM

sideskirts look simular to GP sports style.. Custom pulled fenders.. s5 stock bumper and lip..

I dont know about hood or mirrors, but the wheels and stance make the car.

Turbo II Rotor 09-16-08 12:40 PM

Stock lip? What are you smoking?

Yeah, 100% that is the Lucky Lip. I know because I saw some sight comparing the Lucky vs. the Feed and they used this exact photo for the Lucky, so I'm sure it is!

OutCold 09-16-08 02:17 PM

How do they get the ftp`s like that? when i tried removing the ftp light civers i was left with some ugly visible mounting brackets, do they just cut em out or aint they actually a part of the bumper, just bolted on from the inside?

Napsterfreak15 09-16-08 03:10 PM

Brackets are a part of the bumper.
i just so happen to have a pic of mine.

CWestFD3S 09-16-08 04:02 PM

the mirrors look like aero palace

OutCold 09-17-08 09:33 AM

So this far we got:

Front bumper : Stock with removed ftp lenses
Front Lip : Lucky Front Lip
Mirrors: AeroPalace
Side Skirts: Gp Sport
Hood: Uknown
Wide Fender: Uknown

Feel free too fill in the blanks or correct the others

If i was too spend so much time putting this kit together, is the car ruined then? By ruined i mean NOT salvegable, i cant pic off the bodykit parts, sand it down and repaint it?

Custom pulled like: unique/one of a kind?

What does that hood do too intercooled turbo engines wich get their air supply from the original airscoop on the hood?

Tyler [S5 FC] 09-17-08 12:18 PM

Custom as in, somebody took the stock fenders and rolled em out. Any decent body shop should be able to do this. I've even seen threads on do it urself fender rolls.

As far as the hood, reverse cowels will suck out air, as supposed to blowing air in. I'm not positive, but pretty sure, the air flow will be alot better from being sucked out instead of blown in. IMO, when I go turbo, I'm gonna do a V-Mount with a reverse cowel hood. Seems like the best way to go to me.

OutCold 09-17-08 12:26 PM

So they basically edged the original fender metal too make those "flaps" in the wheelarch? Hasnt anyone seen a plastic version of those fenders or similar ones?

Natey 09-17-08 12:35 PM

That hood looks like D-Max.

OutCold 09-17-08 12:41 PM

Good find, sent them an e-mail requesting more pictures too confirm it

DrifterDuo 09-17-08 03:22 PM

Doesn't look like D-max to me, the silver one up top slopes more towards the front, the D-max is sharper.

CWestFD3S 09-17-08 03:55 PM

kinda looks like the R magic hood...

DrifterDuo 09-17-08 04:19 PM

I think you won!

OutCold 09-19-08 09:49 PM

Did they do an extreme version of this in the front and back? or does it look welded on?

Is this what they use too do those fenders?

Risky Devil 09-21-08 05:01 AM

Nope.
Those are stock metal fenders, with the inner lip pulled out.
Then prob. shaved and cleaned up with some filler.

Those pulls are too clean for just a fender roller.
Although its close, but the way those are pulled, its def. body shop material.

It cant be just the innerlip pulled out because u can see that the distance between the fender arch and the fender "outer line" that is just above is gona, meaning its be bent so much that it actually goes into outer line of the fender

CarzArKoo1 09-21-08 06:14 AM

i like the paint job

OutCold 10-03-08 04:00 PM

its japanese brah.. if you cant use a fax machine, or a telephone then i guess your sol. and im not sure how you plan on communicating with them. i mean how else are you planning to order parts from a company located in japan? i simply gave you the way to contact them. i figured you were smart enough to handle the actual communications if someone else was able to find the contact info for you.

oh yeah.. you're welcome

S54life 01-04-09 11:30 PM

hello

sorry to post late just joined and looking around but i have seen a fender lip like done they cut the lip off and add more metal and rewelds it back on the car and gives it the extra width for the rims and tire and give the fender lip that look.

stevensimon 01-04-09 11:35 PM

maybe thats how idiots with tons of free time do it but most people including the owner of that car just stretched...

with the use of this tool
