A/C power
this is a rather silly question..but I feel it proves some worth to us street racers who only go to the track on weekends or destroy car meets...anyway.. I know that in most race cars.. who cares about A/c and a most likely removed.. but for those who kept their a/C< How much power do you have under you hood?
basically I am askin.. how much power can I throw down with the a/c unit still in place... I currently have it off.. bought the car that way.. but with summer here and my plans of moviing to miami...and my knowledge woman, I just may put back on haha:nod: any feedback will be much appreciated |
400hp
removing the ac is more about simplifying the bay and losing a few pounds then robbing HP, if its not running we are talking a few HP, not worth the lack of comfort |
Wow.. I actually never knew that...Thanks Now I got something to look forward to for next summer.. can still bust ass in the streets and keep the girl cool :)

with out AC (like mine) I am running 2 belts to the alternator pulley
just cuz the AC left a slot so my alt will pull harder and stronger I think this is very important PS: I wish I had the AC........:( |
idk.. it just gets so damn hot in ny summers and i'm planning on moving me and my fc to miami.. I just dont know how long I can last without the ac.. I"m gonna have to find a pully set that will work with a single pully either that or remove the main cat/air pump and anything that associates with that to run a double pully set up..
P.S... I hate when girls ramble on about their hair and how hot it is...but being a lonely driver is not always a good thing :( |
