No, but all the guy did was cut the roof out; the top cannot go back on.

right, but its more than cuting the roof. i see that he cut the top part of the door down and molded it into the a pillar. Im curious at what angle he cut at and also how he got his top to seal. I have a few ideas of my own but im curious. i have a S4 shell with a dented up roof and a s5 na motor i cant to seem to get rid of. I figured i would build a car just to play around with. the targa mod seems like a fun idea to try on a car i could care less about.

you could try using vert doors.....

No, he simply took the jaws of life and CUT the god damn roof off. The doors were cut at the same place to match (read he cut off the top part of the top part of the window frame, letting the rest hang). He opened one of the doors when I was there. Believe me, this car is ghetto as shit.

I'd love making my car targa but there's gotta be a better way lol.
