a little bit of photoshop fun b/c the last one was shaky. Have to get out the sticky pod w/ remote to get a nice little crisp shot with that last angle. Thanks for looking!

I'm going to steal your factory cd player

rotarybeat1287 09-03-08 12:32 AM

haha HELL NO! shit sounds soooo good.

DPeanut 09-03-08 12:42 AM

Would there be any was to make some sort of mount to absorb the vibes, but still be able to travel lake clear shots?

rotarybeat1287 09-03-08 01:00 AM

yeah... a sticky pod. I did that hand held. The shot out of the sun roof, #2 I rested the camera and lens on the roof of the car while holding it. The 3rd one was all hand held and thats why it looks like crap.

we seriously need to get together for some pics man. i just got a new 10-20mm Sigma lens

rotarybeat1287 09-03-08 01:10 PM

10-20mm!!! DROOL! haha. Love those man. I was privileged enough to shoot w/ a Nikon 10.5mm and @ $799.99 they aren't cheap! I'm probably picking up a 55-200mm VR today or an 18-135mm for my new D80.

...btw, if this Hurricane Hannah continues towards the Carolina's coasts then I will probably be floating on the Blue Ridge Parkway this week some towards Grandfather Mtn and the Lynn Cove Viaduct.

ecko 09-03-08 07:58 PM

I did some of those when I first got my D40 (and didn't IN THE LEAST know how to use it...) and still had my MA70: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?ai...&id=1574400050

These are the best from the album:

They're pretty grainy from having been uploaded, downloaded, copied, uploaded, and then linked but I'm still proud of them. Got a couple prizes for a couple of them too...

K!NCH 09-03-08 08:40 PM

Amazing as always, second one is epic.

I'm thinking of getting a wide angle for my Canon 30D. 600$ tho :wallbash:

rxdrift7 09-03-08 08:42 PM

You always deliver rotarybeat. Makes me want to take pictures of my 7 every time.

Oh and Nikons 10.5mm FTW!
