18x11 +20 offset on fc?
 

Was wondering if anybody know if 18x11 +20 clear the coilover n will it fit on the stock fender with - camber up front?

Stock fenders? Not even close. Thats too wide up front, beyond fender line. Most importantly, not enough room for steering angle. 11 width on a +20offset, wheels will be hugging coilovers.

stock fenders with 11's? gtfo.

coilovers buy you some room but not even remotely near that much, even if you tilt them on their side.

you're talking 0 or maybe even negative offset with some 50mm wide flares.


my 18X8.5F+32 with 245/45R18 fronts shoehorn under rolled fenders and squeak by the HKS coilovers. my 18X9.5R+32 with 275/45R18's scrape the control arm and rub the rolled fenders. people said what i have wouldn't fit, so it's about as wide as you're going to fit without stretching metal or doing some body work.

you might fit a 9-9.5" wheel but it's going to be stretched, and honestly i hate that crap so i will not even go there.

You may need wider fenders up front. Or a hell of a monster pull! Lol

I have 18x9.5 +12 and 18x10.5 +12 on stock rolled fenders. Rolling like a gangsters.

It can be done. Stretch, poke, camber buys you a lot of room.

You'll need atleast an inch spacer to clear suspension, plus a 30mm+ widebody depending how wide you want your tires.

Stretch? Ubercamber and 30mm's/ rolled-flared.

Meaty? Tripoint Widebody.

you'd need a ~35+ mm spacer. a 235/35(or 40) tire. max camber. and 40-50mm fenders.

that illustration is also very generous to where the coil springs usually start on the FC, which is generally just above the wheel lip on an 18" wheel. my spring begins about half rubber height of my tire.

The WillTheyFit strut in the diagram is just for show anyway. that being said, OP you're gonna need overs and spacers as previously mentioned

Good god, that'd be nearly impossible to fit even on a 350z, and those cars swallow wide/low offset wheels like... well I wont go there.

I have 17x9 front 18x10 rear 2254517 and 2753518 had to roll fenders but thats it. Now I could have run a wider front tire now with my coilovers but at the time I had tokicos and teins in. Coilovers buy you a little room for the wheel but a ton of room for the tire! Any wider and you need flares or widebody ect.

very old thread i know but i got a chance for 18x11 +20s for the rear will that work at all (i plan on getting some wide body fenders)

18x11 +20 will clear the rear trailing arm on an FC.

It will poke about an inch out with stock alignment. Enough camber and tire strench could make it "fit"
