Is there any way to stop the ABS without having to remove the whole unit ?

Just as the title says. Is there any button i have missed or a fuse that I can pull if there is no button ?

Asking for a friend's 1991 T-II btw... haven't got mine yet :)

Maybe the abs fuse or just unplug it

OP - what do you mean by "stop the ABS without removing the whole unit"? If you remove the ABS fuse, your brakes will function like normal non-ABS equipped brakes, but the ABS idiot light will remain lit up on the dash. That all assumes your ABS pump isn't leaking.... if THAT'S the real reason why you want to bypass the ABS, you'll still need to either: (a) Fix/replace ABS pump or (b) Remove ABS pump and do the brake line bypass surgery.

No, the pump isn't leaking, my buddy just wants to disable the abs function as long as he goes "racing" (not really racing as his car is stock), on the multipurpose track in the vicinity of our hometown, but he wants a quick modification, not something complicated, therefore the fuse trick will do.

Also, can you please point towards what fuse is the one for the abs ?

Thanks

EDIT: I think we found it, even if the box is really worn and you can't read anything on it- it should be the 60A right ? The green one ?

RE-EDIT (sorry) shouldn't it be yellow ?

Unplugging the connector or removing the fuse will disable it.

and remove the abs light in the idiot cluster

I wish my race car had ABS. It would save me money in flat spotted tires. Sometimes the unloaded wheel locks. You can try to change your line or your brake points but sometimes you can't.

Would I like to extend the ABS fuse to a switch so I could choose which corners to disable it? That would be an interesting idea.
